'Type2' REAR SETS (with Brake Pedal)
SATO RACING 'Type 2' Rear Sets for 2007-13 Ducati 848 / 1098 / 1198 feature compomnents made of light-weight, high strength anodized billet aluminum, with stainless steel hardware. Modular step plate design lets you choose from 10 adjustable peg positions, ranging from stock-equivalent position to higher and more forward positions. Choice of Black, Silver or Gold anodized finish. You can also choose from several Heel Guard styles (Details below). Options include an anodized billet aluminum Shift Arm that matches the Rear Sets. |

Brake Pedal and Brake Link use miniature double stainless bearings for smooth, precise
movement. Brake Pedal pivots off a separate axis from the foot peg for optimal leverage.
Knurled Foot Pegs keep your feet firmly planted even in wet conditions.
Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black Delrin.
The positions of both the Step Plates and the Foot Pegs can be adjusted
several ways, so you can find the perfect postion for your riding style.
Pedal Tip position and Shift Rod mounting position are also adjustable, letting you fine-tune the shift stroke. Note: these photos depict an earlier design version of these Rear Sets. The latest version features an updated shift pedal design with more position adjustment holes. A color-matched Shift Rod (not pictured) is also included in the kit. Use with the stock rod ends. |
Switch from stock shift to reverse (GP-style) shift pattern
by flipping the stock change arm the opposite direction.
NOTE: If installing with DQS / Ducabike quickshifter, it is stock shift pattern only.
Choose from several styles of Heel Guards: 'New style' with no etched model number, or original style with '1098' or '848' etched in it. '1198'-etched Heel Guards (not pictured) are also available, in Black only. (Select Heel Guard style during checkout). |

SHIFT ARM
Reversible Shift Arm with 4 mounting positions*. Anodized billet aluminum in your choice of Black, Silver or Gold. Fits most recent Ducati models. Works with both standard and reverse (GP style) shift pattern setups. Can be used with SATO RACING Rear Sets or the stock Ducati rear sets. Cutout-style FOOT PEG
This super-lightweight anodized billet aluminum peg for competition use* features a rectangular-motif grip pattern. An End Cap made of abrasion-resistant black Delrin is included. * NOTE: Due to the lightweight hollowed-out design, these pegs are intended for track use only. Not recommended for heavier riders or stunting purposes. |

FOOT PEG TOOL
SATO RACING PEG TOOL
is an aluminum wrench designed specifically for use with Sato Racing Foot Pegs, giving you a way to hold the peg firmly when removing or tightening it without risking scratching the finish, such as might happen if using a regular steel wrench or pliers to grip the peg. This versatile tool has squared off sides so it can be held in a vice. This can be useful in certain situations, such as if you need to extract a stud from a peg. Made of high strength billet aluminum with a gold anodized finish. NOTE: Fits SATO Foot Pegs made in the last 4 years or so. Most earlier Sato pegs will also fit with the wrench, but machining tolerances for the pegs were not as precise a few years ago, so we cannot guarantee compatibility with all our pegs. |
