SATO RACING 'Race Concept' Rear Sets for 2009-2014 S1000RR and HP4 are pure, no-compromise race-spec Rear Sets, designed for track-only bikes. CNC-machined out of billet aluminum, these lightweight Rear Sets provide a range of positions that can put your feet significantly higher up compared to stock, better to help maximize lean angle during cornering. Choose from anodized Black finish with Gold accents, or Gold finish with Black base plates and shift assembly. Two versions of 'Race Concept' Rear Sets are available: |
Standard Version features an integrated shift pedal designed for stock shifting pattern. |
Reverse Shift version has a separate shift pedal providing a dedicated reverse (GP) shift pattern, with the shift rod relocated outside the frame for the most direct shift action. |
NOTE: Not recommended for street use. Since this is intended for use with racing brake setups, compatibility with the stock ABS brakes or brake light switch is not confirmed. Not compatible with the stock exhaust canister on the US model, since there is no easy way to hang the canister from the tail end of the rear sets. The shift and brake pedals utilize miniature double stainless bearings for smooth, precise lever movement.
The rest height of the brake pedal can be adjusted by rotating the pedal stopper. (Rear Sets shown installed with a compatible high mount exhaust system that hangs from the passenger peg bracket mount location. Also should be compatible with some shorty-style racing exhausts that do not require the exhaust hanger to be attached to the rear sets). |
Standard Version
Standard Version features a stock shift pattern.
The integrated shift pedal of the Standard Version
is designed
to utilize the stock frame pass-through shift rod location.
Reverse Shift version
The GP-pattern shift pedal of the Reverse Shift version
has multiple adjustment points for fine-tuning the shifter feel.
On the Reverse Shift version, stock lower fairing will need
to be modded or removed to use this external shifter setup.
NOTE: Not for street use. Not designed for compatibility with the stock brake light switch / ABS. Not for use with the stock exhaust canister on US model (There is no canister hanger bracket). On Reverse Shift version, Fairing modifications are required to use the shift pedal with the stock lower fairing. |

Cutout-style FOOT PEG
This super-lightweight anodized billet aluminum peg for competition use* features a rectangular-motif grip pattern. An End Cap made of abrasion-resistant black Delrin is included. * NOTE: Due to the lightweight hollowed-out design, these pegs are intended for track use only. Not recommended for heavier riders or stunting purposes. |
