REAR SETS

SATO RACING Rear Sets for Ducati Monster 796 features a well-engineered and thoroughly track-tested design, with all parts precision CNC-machined out of high strength anodized billet aluminum, with stainless steel bolts and hardware. Modular adjustable design lets you choose from 11 foot peg positions, ranging from near-stock equivalent to up to 40mm higher than stock. You can easily set it up for stock shift pattern or GP-style reverse shift pattern. ABS compatible. Choice of Black, Silver or vivid Gold anodized finish.

Available options include Tandem Brackets for attaching the stock passsenger pegs, and an adjustable billet aluminum Shift Arm.

The brake and shift lever feature dual miniature stainless bearings for smooth, precise lever actuation with a solid feel. An adjustable Step Plate, along with multiple mount holes for the Foot Peg, gives you a choice of 11 unique foot positions, ensuring that you can find the ideal position for your height and riding style.

These Rear Sets are compatible with both ABS-equipped and non-ABS Monster 796 models.

Stock shift pattern shown above. You can set up these Rear Sets for reverse shift pattern by flipping the stock shift arm to angle upward. We also make a billet aluminum Shift Arm for Ducati models that can be used with these Rear Sets instead of the stock shift arm, providing a wider adjustment range and a shorter throw than stock. SATO RACING Ducati Monster 796 Rear Sets [L]-side

The standard Foot Pegs are fixed (non-folding), and feature a finely knurled pattern with optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. We also now make Cut-out style Racing Foot Pegs that are compatible with this model, available as an option. See below for Details.

The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant Delrin. Additional Pedal Tip styles, such as aluminum Pedal Tips with fluted rubber grips, are also available.

This super-lightweight anodized billet aluminum peg for competition use* features a rectangular-motif grip pattern. An End Cap made of abrasion-resistant black Delrin is included.

* NOTE: Due to the lightweight hollowed-out design, these pegs are intended for track use only. Not recommended for heavier riders or stunting purposes.

Pedal Tips for SATO RACING Rear Sets

SATO RACING offers several optional styles of Pedal Tips (toe pegs) in addition the long-style black DELRIN Pedal Tips that come standard with most of our Rear Sets (part# ST-001D18 in the photo above). We also have Short-style DELRIN tips, along with Black or Gold anodized aluminum Pedal Tips with fluted rubber grips.

FOOT PEG TOOL

SATO RACING PEG TOOL is an aluminum wrench designed specifically for use with Sato Racing Foot Pegs, giving you a way to hold the peg firmly when removing or tightening it without risking scratching the finish, such as might happen if using a regular steel wrench or pliers to grip the peg. This versatile tool has squared off sides so it can be held in a vice. This can be useful in certain situations, such as if you need to extract a stud from a peg. Made of high strength billet aluminum with a gold anodized finish.

NOTE: Fits SATO Foot Pegs made in the last 4 years or so. Most earlier Sato pegs will also fit with the wrench, but machining tolerances for the pegs were not as precise a few years ago, so we cannot guarantee compatibility with all our pegs.
